Hi, I’m Jason.

I know technology.
I am still learning how best to serve.

I want to help people. I want to do something useful for the world in the name of Jesus Christ. The honest truth is that I am not always sure what that is supposed to look like.

I have spent years working with computers, WordPress, websites, servers, publishing systems, repair work, and the difficult details that make technology actually work. Christ IT is my best attempt to take that skillset and give something back.

I am starting with tools I already built, doing the work to make them safe and understandable for other people, and releasing them freely. It may not be the whole answer, but it is a real thing I can do now.

I wanted a way for Christians to publish video, audio, and other media online without being censored and while retaining ownership of what they create.

ChristP2P, or Christ peer-to-peer, is that project: independent Christian publishing built around ownership, durable access, and the freedom to share the work.

GracePress

After years of running and building WordPress projects for myself and for clients, I have probably spent tens of thousands of dollars on plugins and themes. The market has become absolutely brutal. Everybody wants to charge on a subscription basis now.

GracePress started with my own little side project and hobby website at ChristP2P.com. At one point I had a couple dozen paid plugins and about half a dozen subscription plugins. That website cost me thousands and thousands of dollars, and it kept costing me money on an ongoing basis.

So I started building my own tools to save those costs. Now these plugins have reached a level of maturity where it is time to start sharing them with the world.

It honestly tickles me that I get to give these away in the name of Jesus Christ and maybe save somebody fifty or a hundred bucks on a useful plugin with all the premium features and none of the paywalls.
